Welcome to Trailside + Open House

Welcome to CrossFit Trailside! As we approach opening day (7/24), I'd like to share my vision for this "box" and our core values. When I started the CrossFit program, I was obsessed (obviously), but a small part of me thought it might get old. "Maybe it's just a fad to be discarded when the next big thing arrives," I thought. As I sit here over ten years later reflecting on why CrossFit has become a cult-like phenomenon, I believe it's for one main reason: the benefits from this fitness program translate exceptionally well outside of the gym. Patience (from learning new skills), mental fortitude (from powering through a grueling workout), and most importantly, self confidence (from learning that you are capable of more than you imagined).



While being really great a working out is cool, we strive for inclusivity at Trailside. Most of us won't be professional CrossFit athletes - that's not our primary goal (although we can help you get there). Our mission is to prepare you for the world outside of the gym. We want you to be able to carry your kids around Disney World. We want you to feel confident in your bathing suit. We want to help you prepare for the race or fitness competition you've always wanted to do. We want you to be the best version of you.



Our open house on July 24, 2021 (8am-2pm) will be a great opportunity for you to tour the facility, ask questions, and try a quick workout (optional). We are also raffling away three free personal training sessions - simply fill out our brief survey for a chance to win. The workout of the day (or "WOD" as we call it) will be administered in 30-minute sessions, starting at the top of every hour (9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm). This workout is appropriate for all levels of fitness. Just show up in comfortable workout clothes and be ready to sweat!
